We subscribe to the philosophy “change your thoughts, change your life,” and this approach helps you understand the power within your own mind and heart. Our counseling and mediation services are designed to treat the whole mind and the whole body.

Couples, Families and Individual Counseling

As marriage and family therapists, we’re accustomed to working with one person, family groups and anything in between. The problems you may have most often effect and are influenced by those we love and with whom we share our lives. We allow for flexibility in the sessions – including other family members or important people in your life sometimes just makes good sense.

Group Therapy

There truly is power in numbers and having support from others is often a good option.  Being surrounded by others lets you know you're not alone, and opens up the possibility for change and growth that individual counseling does not always provide.  We often learn best when we get information and inspiration by sharing stories and listening to others' stories as well.

Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA)

ABA services are typically for individuals with developmental delays like autism. Behavior therapy is also effective when dealing with problems like anger management, aggressive behaviors, social skills, language development and every day living. Behavior therapy can and often does focus on simple yet important skills like good eye contact, table manners and getting dressed in the morning to more sophisticated skills like carrying on a conversation or issues with gambling or weight loss/maintenance. Like any good therapy, the goal is to improve overall health, development, and wellness. Home and school visits are provided when necessary.

Family Mediation/Conflict Resolution

Learn how to resolve differences in a more peaceful and constructive way with your spouse/x-spouse, partner, children and other family members. You can end the destructive behavior and the repetitive, recycled arguments and move forward with your life.

Divorce Mediation

Divorce is a challenging and complex process. As a neutral third party, we help couples resolve divorce/child custody issues and create agreements in a more constructive and efficient manner.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Exercise your body while exorcising your inner demons. Experience the mind-body connection in the context of counseling. For those of you who feel at free and at home in the outdoors, this sure beats the proverbial couch talk.

Telephone/Email/Skype to Skype Consultation

In between sessions problems do come up. You can take advantage of those moments when you feel overwhelmed or stuck and don't know how to manage the situation and/or your emotions in a more constructive way. Through a telephone, email, or Skype consultation, you can take advantage of the challenge and transform it into a teachable moment.
